About This Project

“People often turn to media for guidance, but in their quest to stand out, they may inadvertently lose their true selves by succumbing to societal norms and pressures. ‘PICTURE PERFECT’ explores the solace individuals find in assuming alternate identities and concealing their imperfections simply because they don’t fit conventional beauty standards, a prevalent trend today.

Each garment is meticulously crafted from upcycled or eco-friendly materials, manufactured with great care in both India and the United Kingdom. The collection features handwoven fabrics that not only provide fair wages but also support skilled weavers in India, promoting their specialized expertise.

Incorporating upcycled materials such as silk waste and cassette tape reels for embellishments and tufting helps in reduction of our environmental footprint.
